About Dorian

Welcome to First Day Life Coaching, I’m Dorian (Dorie) Cucinotta and  I’m here to help you navigate life’s challenges and unlock your full potential.

For me, fulfillment comes from helping others. For 30 years, I’ve helped busy parents and professionals, young adults and teens gain understanding and move forward in their lives. Prior to becoming a life coach, I worked for many years as a licensed school nurse. I saw many teens deal with the pressures of “fitting in,” getting into the “right” college, and making choices that would change the course of their lives.  I love connecting with people from all backgrounds, with diverse concerns, who are ready to talk about change!

Meanwhile, I’ve raised three children of my own with my husband of three decades. I understand the challenges of being a working mom, being a stay-at-home mom, and being a mom with an empty nest. I’ve shifted gears into caring for my own aging parents. My firsthand experiences—life’s blessings, surprises, trials, transitions and disappointments—are lessons that I can share with you, wherever you are in life’s journey.

Besides caring for my family and others as a health care professional, my other great loves are books, traveling, dogs and art. My faith as a Christian is central to my life and guides my purpose as a mother, wife, nurse, coach and friend.
